A blog new to me -- and pretty bloody awesome as it goes -- known as My Band's Better Than Yours recommended and hotly tipped a very fresh band called YAAKS. Who currently there is fairly little to say about.
A band with the mission statement:
"YAAKS ARE SIX MINDS PLAYING MUSIC TO BEST PORTRAY THE THOUGHTS OF JEAN JACQUES ROUSSEAU"
Nice. Attempting to portray political philosophy through music. That is a sure fire way to, not most girls' loins, but certainly mine.
They sound fantastic too!
