Nearly 8 years on I could have never have thought was the post would be so resonant (regardless of my grieving misanthropy). I posted that song in my time of loss, and it seems now the perfect tribute to share this particular track again.
The loss of Carey Lander will be felt by all fans of the band.

I was quite upset about this yesterday. I have been fortunate enough to have seen Camera Obscura quite a few times and they always struck me as really "good people". I was planning on posting something from the album this is from tomorrow when I get back as it is my favourite by the band.
I posted something years ago and I remember you commented that it reminded you of bereavement.
Gosh, you remember these things better than I then (not saying much, my memory is appalling). It hit me quite hard reading back that old post.
I agree, whenever I had seen them live they always had time for fans. A warm-hearted band. It is such a loss that they will be experiencing now. I can't pretend to know what that must be like.
